‘Gargantuan portions’

‘Always a pleasure to come to this country inn. The normal menu is already quite extensive, but the specials board is to die for. A lovely log fire burning adds to the warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff are always welcoming, friendly and attentive and it is not too much trouble to vary the elements of some of the meals offered if they are not to your taste. Draught beers good (Doom Bar) and a varied selection of lagers and wine. Had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch, and, even though the portions were large, managed to force down an excellent lemon meringue pie because I just couldn’t resist it. Have visited for Sunday lunch as well, which is an absolute bargain.’

‘Great Sunday Lunch’

“We decided to try the Bradworthy Inn as our third destination sampling the various roasts around the Bude area. What a great place this one was. The Inn itself has been around a few hundred years, so the atmosphere in the bar is typically old English “pub”. In itself this is a plus but the bar staff make it an even better experience being very cheery and welcoming. All in all a great wholesome and satisfying meal that for the two of us including drinks came to £22 – great value.”
